Data by race and ethnicity is for Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, 2016-2021, and only includes first birth, low-risk (excludes any births where one or more maternal or pregnancy risk factors were present), head-down fetal presentation, and births at term (gestational age was 37+ weeks).
