Silicon Valley includes Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Eligible voter turnout is defined as the percentage of adult citizens who voted. 2016 General Election turnout for California does not include Yuba County. The eligible turnout rate in San Francisco increased significantly in 2020 due to an estimated decline in the citizen voting age population ages 25-34.
